Comics&Science participates to the MaddMaths project!

A site, a community, a gathering and place of discoveries: MaddMaths!

A project born in 2008, as part of the initiatives of SIMAI (Società Italiana di Matematica Applicata e Industriale – Italian Society of Applied and Industrial Mathematics) with the aim of removing existing prejudices about mathematics and promoting its value as one of the main resources for technological innovation.

Maddmaths! presents itself as a showcase of Italian mathematics, a place to meet and debate for professionals, students, teachers and the simply curious. A site designed to share, narrate and engage people into mathematics.

The contributions of MaddMaths! (always with an exclamation mark) are edited by mathematicians and researchers who are able to speak with competence and mastery even on very advanced and complex topics, without, however, giving up the needed touch of irony. Just like in the pages of Comics&Science.
